Web Design Internships

Artworks Design is a unique, 12 year old web design company with web design internship positions available throughout the year. We are in immediate need of a good web design intern.

These internships are flexible, being that all internships are unpaid. Preferrably, though, we would like close to full, 8 hour days as possible, 3-5 days per week. Intership try outs last from 1 day to 5 days. The complete length of an intership will last a total of 4 weeks unless longer interships are needed for college credits.

Jobs are assigned depending on your skill level with web design. To be able to design consistently, you will need to know specific programs: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamwever and Flash or be able to program with ASP. Preferred candidates will be able to do both print & web design on a PC and on a Mac.Your proficiency with the computer, along with your talent as a website designer will determine the types of jobs you are given.

There will be "gopher" type work regardless , but the work environment is fun and crazy, and you will gain invaluable experience. You will also be able to list Artworks Design as a job reference on your résumé after your web design internship.

Submit your résumé, with cover letter along with at least 3 samples of recent work*, and/or a listing of websites that you have designed by either:

Make sure you put "Web Design Internship" in the subject of your e-mail or on the envelope and in the cover letter of your letter, so we know which position you are applying for.

*Suggestions for samples: We are looking for print or web design done on or with the assistance of a computer: logos, ads, invitations, flyers, brochures, websites etc. The more creative the better; the more samples the better (not more than 10). We are not really looking for fine art: painting, charcoal drawings, sculpture and the like.

No phone calls please.
